2010 FOUNDATION AWARDS: • College Scholarships • Teacher Grants • Teacher of the Year |
The BCHS Education Foundation presented College Scholarships to 50 graduating seniors at the May 21 BCHS Awards Assembly.   More On May 26, the BCHS Education Foundation presented 26 Teacher Grants totaling $12,250 for projects in the upcoming 2010-2011 academic year.   More The BCHS Education Foundation also presented Ms. MarySusan Williamson with a cash award for being chosen the BCHS Teacher of the Year by vote of her fellow teachers. |

EDUCATOR HALL OF FAME New 2010 Members |
At the February 4, 2010 Gala, the Foundation inducted Ms. Beverly Jackson, Ms. Cindy Kessler, and Mr. Drue Spigner as members of the Educator Hall of Fame.
Ms. Jackson taught in the English Department at Brookland-Cayce from 1974 to 1995.   More Ms. Kessler taught Physical Education at Brookland-Cayce for thirty years, retiring in 2000.   More Mr. Spigner began his career as Custodian of the newly opened Brookland-Cayce High School in 1931, and retired as Buildings and Maintenance Supervisor in 1960.   More |
